Position Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic History Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of history, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to engaging students in meaningful learning experiences. This individual will inspire students to think critically about historical events, connect the past to the present, and cultivate a global perspective.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging, rigorous, and student-centered lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
  • Teach multiple sections of history courses, which may include U.S. History, World History, and elective courses in areas such as AP History or Economics.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress using a variety of formative and summative assessment tools.
  • Foster a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, discussion, and respect for diverse viewpoints.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and integrate technology into instruction.
  • Participate actively in the life of the school, including extracurricular activities, school events, and professional development opportunities.
  • Uphold and model the mission and values of Bishop Eustace Preparatory School.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in History, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Valid teaching certification in New Jersey or eligibility to obtain certification.
  • Prior teaching experience at the high school level, preferably in a college preparatory or private school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of historical content, pedagogy, and best practices for secondary education.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Willingness to embrace and support the Catholic mission and values of the school.

Maintenance Worker

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Maintenance Worker at Bishop Eustace Preparatory School in Pennsauken, NJ. The Maintenance Worker will be responsible for equipment maintenance, power tool operation, carpentry tasks, plumbing repairs, and preventive maintenance activities to ensure the smooth functioning of the school facilities on a daily basis.
 
Qualifications
Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance skills
Proficiency in operating Power Tools
Experience in Carpentry and Plumbing repairs
Holding an HVAC certification or willing to acquire one within a year
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations
Relevant certification or training in maintenance work
High school diploma or equivalent
